Dear Dr. reader,

In this October edition, we highlight discoveries from basic research to translational research along with online resources to connect with new microbiome 'horizons'.

We will be thrilled to share your news or news you find relevant for our microbiome community. To share, send us an email to [email protected] and we will get back to you.

Have a nice reading!

Meet our expert - Dr. Celia Greenwood

Dr. Celia Greenwood
Dr. Celia Greenwood is a professor, the co-director of the Ludmer Centre and the director of the PhD program in Quantitative Life Sciences at McGills. As an expert in biostatistics, Dr. Greenwood applies her skills to develop statistical methodologies for the analysis of genetic and genomic data. At IMPACTT, Dr. Greenwood leads the bioinformatics platform where she provides, with her colleagues Dr. Brinkman and Dr. Hsiao, support to the community for the analysis and understanding of microbiome metadata.
The Greenwood team recently contributed to improving microbiome data analysis with MDiNE, a model to estimate differential co-occurrence networks in microbiome studies. Discover more about Dr. Grenwood in her IMPACTT interview!
